Amigos De Honduras was founded by the Elvir family in loving memory of Juana Rovelo Elvir.

We are a non-denominational Christian organization whose desire is to help meet the basic needs of the poor families of Valle de Angeles, Honduras, and to see them come to a knowledge of Jesus Christ and experience the love of our heavenly father.

We deliver clothes, toys, books and other children’s necessities donated by caring people in the U.S. and distributed locally by Raul Elvir, and our good friend Pastor Alberto Cruz (Ministerios Vision Cristiana in Valle de Angeles).

Each year we send teams of volunteers to work in medical clinics, schools, and orphanages. In 2010 we established a program for storing clean water.
